Pretty visuals, but poor story, Finish Game in 6 hours and a long list of things they could of done better! Don’t get me wrong I’m not trying to beat on it or anything, and I have no reason to doubt it will be great, but I have been stung before and have got my hopes up many times only to be very disappointed!!!! But great visuals alone don't make a game and even though the multiplayer and co-op sound cool we don't know too much yet... I really hope this game is great but i aint pinning my hopes on it, at least until there is a Demo available or a in-depth review!!! I looked forward to Halo 2 for 18 months and after clocking it in 8 hours i haven't touched single player since!!! I have every faith it will be great but will just wait for the proof before i declare it as my new messiah and leave my woman!!!! 13 -
samonmoose 02.23.2006 11:06 i agree dave except about maxpayne 2 the length was poor but the gameplay was excellent and features the best implementation of physics ive seen. halo 2 was terrible and an obvious money spinner it contained so little of what they promised and the storyline was the biggest pile of cheese god knows why they featured the little shop of horrors talking plant, i was waiting for it 2 start rapping every time it came on screen. To be honest i dislike the developers of gears of war but i like what they have in mind, a tactical shooter is far more my style than anything ludicrously ramboesque i.e. halflife 2, cod, cod2 etc etc. They have released very little info on the game so we r just gonna hav 2 wait and see how it turns out. Personally my hopes are on too human and a couple of other titles. 14 -

The good ole PS1 days, now I understand if you were disappointed with part 2 or Driv3r, they had expectations to be better than the first, but weren't. While I cant really explain how, you can definitely see a difference in any cg video compared to a live feed or in game video. It will still be a few years before all video games look like and surpass cg video. With that incident in the UK cg video might be banned for commercial use. And thanks to 29 and 30 I now realize that the ps3 has not released any new game footage since the announcement of the ps3. How long ago was that again?...What games were they releasing again?... It's COMPLETELY INGAME, those screens are from short cutscenes during the action (rendered with ingame engine), also, THERE IS NO HUD!
