I bought this title based on how much i LOVED the PC version, but this has definately fallen short of expectations. True, they have upgraded things like the water (which is freakin sweet, I'll admit), but the modeling of the characters is lacking, hit damage in unrealistic, and the objectives are simply dull. The single greatest thing going for FarCry is its Map Editor. I built one from scratch in less than 30 mins, and was quite extensive and easy as hell to manipulate. However... I found myself back playing GRAW multiplayer after 2 hours of FarCry. The gameplay just doesnt match. I guess the bar has been set in my living room. If you want to compete for my money from now on, it better kick GRAWs ass!!! 3 -

i have itUnregistered - justin 03.31.2006 10:54 The IGN review sums it up well. It's nice and better than the PC edition which i loved. Its basically the PC edition on MAX settings with HDR lighting and better water. It actually still holds up pretty good. That Crysis video makes it look bad(along with about everything else). The game makes me feal like RAMBO. Its not a mistake getting this, but if your just really not sure stick with GRAW. Remember that its going to be a while until PREY is released which is why i got it. 5 -

Lucid360 03.31.2006 11:30 Yes... You get FarCry: Insticts which came out in the last few months to a year for XBOX... The one on the 360 is a enhanced version of the xbox game. ALSO the game for the 360... Predator is on there also. Insticts serves as a prequel to the game that is Predator. Instincts is not really that long so no problem. For $60 you get really 2 games for one, plus the multiplayer... Plus the far beyond excellent map editor to make your own multiplayer mapos. 9 -
