Eidos Interactive today confirms that Battlestations: Midway will be released on Xbox 360 and PC in autumn 2006. We are getting games that are just for the xbox360 and no other system. Games like Mass Effect, Too Human, Enchant Arms, Blue Dragon' Ninety Nine Nights' Saints Row and Dead Rising to name a few. So lets not get to mad at MS yet. 4 -

It won't be out until LATE 2007 because of the load time issues with Blu-Ray if ever! If Sorny looses the format war again (remember Beta vs VHS) the PS3 may never exist. 5 -

Unregistered - shotty 04.21.2006 10:27 I was also thinking about the horrible load times for the ps3 as well since it will ve 1x or 2x, which is still slower than the x360 12x DVD drive. Then it hit me, Sony knows its a major problem so that why they included the harddrive so that it can do heavy caching. But we know from Oblivion it helps but can also get in the way alittle. 7 -

You are wrong, PC is not much better than XBOX360 version like Oblivion, and ghost recon. They are better than pc version and sell out pc market. MS has actually done this intentionally through their software tools. If it is easy for developers to develop for both platforms then they will maximize their profits by catering to two audiences with much smaller out of pocket expense. This means that more games from the PC will show up on the 360 and vice versa. Let me repeat, that means M O R E games for both consumers. Which means that more developers will be attracted to the console. I'm primarily a console gamer anyhow prefering comfort to hunching. So this is excellent news. 14 -

To other countries It shows that America loves war and lets just rub it in by making games out of history. Well some people don't take too kindly to that. Here in America we have all different types of people. I know that if I came from another country that America went to war with I wouldn't want to see a game about it. What if Japan made a game about terrorist flying planes into the WTC Twin Towers. I know I would be outraged about it. So the Same has to go for these types of games. Maybe we need to stop making these type of games and stop reminding other Countries every five minutes of what we have done. As for me I just don't like flight games. Even GTA, as much as I hate their "lets kill police and National Guardsmen" attitude, has probably kept plenty of the stupid people from attempting it in real life. Those stupid retarded people that actually go out and attempt to recreate an event in a game are in need of a severe beating. Then they should be shot. In the head. OVER AND OVER AGAIN. Besides, war will always exist because we are human. Humans are the only creature in the world that kills for money, property, revenge, and out of spite. Humans are also the only ones that can lie.
