Just went to Gamestop siteOutLaw 05.26.2006 18:39 Gears of War supposed to be at november. But I went to Gamestop site and they had Two covers of Gears of War. The Packshot You see on top is a collection one and the second one is a different Packshot. They have the game to be release at 10/2/2006 which is actually a month earlier than what they was going for. So everybody (at least here in the states) place your pre orders early. 4 -

deepio 05.26.2006 20:33 Don't get me wrong, i'm looking forward to this game, but from all the videos I've seen there seems to be quite a difference between the cutscenes and the gameplay footage, I just hope they can smoothen the gameplay out a bit so we get a solid polished game on our hands. 7 -

The other day they showed a count down to Gears of War from MTV and the guys who made the game was throwing it all together for the show. But at the end it is most likely going to be smooth and not choppy. If you didn't see the show I think you could go to MTV site and they should have the whole count down there. 8 -

Unlike: - Killzone 2 showed on last E3 and where is it now? Haven't seen anything on this year's E3, even not CGI just because they can't live up to the expectations they created themselves last year. - Other DECENT games that ran real time? Haven't seen much or maybe say anything. So keep your CGI talk at the PS3 which has nothing else up to date, Ridge Racer forever & the PS2 kind of titles that were shown on screen with the motion stupid flying game. Man if one steels the motion thing from the Wii do it good. Not this way and NO RUMBLE? Whoahahahaa I really get a real good laugh about the PS3 and all those Fony Fanboys. That's were Final Fantasy really stands for: Fony Fanboys. Please keep that with the only game you are proud on at this moment, MGS4 for the rest it stinks big time. Go play Gears of War this year on the 360 instead of waiting on the delaystation... If you knew anything about E3 you would have known that everybody on xbox live was waiting for the Demo of this game because it was playable. But I guess you denied your self a 360 and now you just talk out your ass. Look I know alot of people put down the PS3 and I have to say for good reasons. As for me maybe I will buy one if it shows promise. But people who brag about it and talk crap about the 360 are just plain ass idiots. Because they are talking about nothing more than a few pretty movies with no game play. Like that FF13, yeah right if that had game play to it. You never know after the beating Sony has been taking lately the PS3 made stand for Phantom Station 3 when everything is said and done. 17 -

@ MatteyUnregistered - The M.A.R.T. 05.28.2006 14:18 Maybe you just like FPS setup, but I think the 3rd person looks of the game add so much more in this case! Just see when the caracter hits a wall, or peeks just from behind it, hold the gun backwards over a big rock where he's behind, get the chainsaw gun and splits an enemy in two... I think the 3rd person is brilliant. Some games are just great in 1st person, some are ment to be in 3rd. Just as with GRAW I really like the 3rd person setup. Just play it when it comes out, I bet your opinion will be changed then ;) 20 -
