Microsoft ramps up Xbox 360 shipments

XBox costs to hit Microsoft

SOFTWARE giant Microsoft has delivered a 16% rise in third-quarter profits but warned that rising costs - especially for the Xbox games machine - will erode earnings in the coming year. Net profit was $2.98bn (£1.67bn) compared with $2.56bn this time last year, and revenue rose 13% to $10.9bn.

Activision and Raven have targeted virtually every conceivable platform with their next Marvel action-RPG - as well as opening it up to include much more than the usual X-Men characters. Marvel: Ultimate Alliance will be released on all next-generation as well as current-generation platforms, handheld and PC, and will feature more than 20 playable Marvel characters including Spider-Man, Wolverine, Blade and Captain America. It's due out this autumn.

Does this game look incredible or what? What you see on that HDTV monitor is an EXTREMELY early version of too human with most of the melee system not intact and tons of other things missing, small bugs here and there. By the way the weapon not in his hand there isn't a bug he was releasing the weapon as he was in the progress of doing one of his fancy attacks. I'm sure people have seen screens before of when he released this axe type weapon and started spinning it on his neck. At any rate guys this game is going to be a MAJOR hit at E3. Surefire killer app if you guys scroll down there is also an interview with silikon knights from the 27th of this month.
Also for anyone interested they will have a LIVE demo of this game shown on g4tv on may 9th. Silikon knights also says the demo level they showed everyone was the most monochromatic there are far more impressive levels in the game.
