TeamXbox has some new gameplay trailers of Battlefield 2: Modern Combat on both high-definition Quicktime format and low-resolution Windows Media format. The first clip showcases controlled mayhem taking place in the Air Traffic Control map. The second trailer highlights the In and Out mission, featuring a parachute jump into the center of town followed by intense infantry action.

Famitsu Editorial Director Hirokazu Hamamura has revealed in the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu that a major RPG announcement will soon take place for Xbox 360. According to Hamamura, if this game were released on the PlayStation 2, it would sell 500,000 copies.

Yesterday saw the release of the long awaited Outfit demo on the Xbox Live Marketplace. Of course literally everyone with a 360 started to download it, so on average gamers had to wait a good 2 hours for a chance to play THQ’s next generation wartime game. Joystiq.com has heard from a reliable source what the next two Call of Duty titles will be about: one will focus on the Normandy Breakout campaign in WWII, while the other moves into the modern age, taking the fight to Middle Eastern terrorists. The big release news is that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and the other WWII-themed game will be released for PC, PS2, PS3, Xbox, and Xbox 360--and they will be released only 3 months apart from one another.
